I'm writing a new fic, looking for help.
If you are familiar with the games Horizon Zero Dawn/Horizon Forbidden West and the MCU Avengers movies, then I'd like to pick your brain. About the work: I'm writing a fanfic that has been stuck in my head for a few years and I'm finally letting it out. I've currently titled it Iron Dawn. It works, but not in the way he'd intended. Now he needs to navigate a post-apocalyptic world full of primative people and strange robot animals. What I'm hoping for is folks to review and give feed back at QQ on some of my between chapter posts where I put up questions about what I'm currently working on and when I'm looking for feedback on how things i'm imaging now might be stupid or improved before or after I've put it in the story. I've found that the crossover stories I enjoy most try to stay true to both canon's and apply changes to the worlds based on how the characters interact with them. That being said, there is a lot of room that canon in HZD doesn't spell out so I get to fill it in. If anyone is interested, please take a look at the links or email me. Hi all: I know I may have asked this before, but I am trying to remember the name of a fic that I read a while ago. In it, Harry leaves and goes to the US. There he enrolls in college and plays baseball. During his last year in college Hermione shows up and stays in his dorm room, determined to get her man. Looking for an HP Story.
Hi folks, Rather than send this to several lists at once..there are over 22 thousand emails in this inbox smiles, I am going to ask on one list..giving it time to provide the answer. If it does not seem likely I will ask elsewhere. What may? make the hunt harder is that I have not read the work as of yet, simply having an idea of the summary. I also feel it might have been recommended here..some years back. Its why I am reasonably sure I have the work, just not a title or author. Basically Harry has grown up in a rough setting, either on the streets, before reaching an orphanage..its possible it has only been an orphanage. A young mundane couple decides to adopt him, aiming to ease his dark tendencies..without, I believe, knowing about magic at first. Again I have not read the work, suspecting a darker than standard harry, Dark may be in the title. Have planned to read the story, I go looking for it, find something else and..well. I remember reading a HP fic last January where Harry was removed from the Dursleys and one result was that Lily's protection was actively attacking Tom's soul fragment in Harry's scar. It was prevented from doing so because of the way Dumbledore anchored the blood wards at Privet Drive.

Ok I know this is a long shot but am looking for a fic I must have read many years ago, at that time I only really knew about fanfiction.net. What I can remember is Harry seems to be planning to move to parallel dimension or another universe, somewhere not his earth. He has a whole load of house elves with him that have been getting ready with everything you could ever need for a new world. I think they had a plot of land they may have been transporting with, but that might be another fic combining in my head. Its not a Wolfwalker story as I love his fics and have read them multiple times. If anyone can help thank you very much.

I came up with an idea of Molly Weasley of being convicted for the comment she made at the Leakey Cauldron about her use of Potions in regard to Arthur. I had a question... Did Molly's comment happen: At dinner the night before, everyone headed to Kings Cross? Hi all, Sharing because I know many of us love her stories, and hopefully other authors can provide their ideas as well. Here is the background, It was evil author day sometime this week, bring with it a story called "Harry's Vow, from Zathara01...at least at ao3. Its a fine work, with my asking in the comments what motivates an author to place a work in the evil author pyre. These are stories an author for whatever reason likely does not intend to finish. her wisdom was that she, due to at the time having just completed her child of iron work, not wishing to do the rewrite required. meaning change a detail and ripples lead to reconstructing the source material..which I am unsure is such a bad thing. as I consider though I am wondering if there might be a middle ground between rewriting source material, and retelling source material. I recall many a post here where members are frustrated by works that end up rehashing hp source material, as well as posts complaining about odd leaps that do not make sense characterization wise. So, is it possible in your opinion to meet in the middle? make tiny changes that lead to interesting shifts but avoid major ripples requiring major rewriting of source material? will save my own thoughts after I get your own..and if you are a member of both lists, simply post where most comfortable. Hi All: Does anyone remember the name of the fic where Harry has left magical Britain and married a female shaman. They have two, or maybe three children together. If I remember correctly, Harry works for the ICW, or maybe it’s for the British crown taking down magical threats. Anyway, while away, new legislation has been passed in the Wizengamot and because Harry’s children have shown accidental magic, Ron and the aurors break in, stun Harry’s wife and take the one daughter off to Hogwarts. When Harry returns home, he loses his shit, contacts his boss and an attack on Hogwarts commences. I think Hermione had a lot to do with the new legislation and Hogwarts. That is all I can remember. Hello all, Could someone please help me find a fanfiction where Voldermont take harry as his son. I remember that Nagini sometimes is human and acts like his mother. Part of the story is about his mother being hurt after an attack and he needs some therapy and meets Madam Longbottom and Neville. There's Voldermort sane and loving and I remember one point where the teachers go to talk to Voldermort, though they don't know it's him, about the changes he's making to the school and young Harry is asleep on his chest under a starry blanket. James and Lily may be alive and there may be a twin involved. It was posted on AO3. Can anyone help? CB
