P.S. At the moment the only way to communicate with thw qmx is via USB. the attiny is a device like the QMX. When the possibility will be there that the AUX port is a serial bus the i can implement

Hi, Unfortunately I did not find out what part is used for the potentiometer. I was somewhat able to figure out the rotary encoder though. It might be possible to find out by contacting QRP labs

Same here, Dick. I even took the rig outside just to be sure I was not picking up something in the house. The new PCM1804 just arrived from Digikey. And my rev 1 QCX Mini taught me how to replace SMD
