The coding and building is no problem. I build a band selector, WPM ?and Straightkey/paddle select with an Attiny and send it over the one wire serial bus to the Icom 7300.
The amp and the Low pass filter is home made. I will make it a simple select of the actual filter. My first set up will be every time i switch band on the qmx i just press a button and on this event i will issue a freq request via CAT to the qmx and on this i will switch the relais for the right low pass filter. I assume the qmx will not send a freq update every time i dial the rotary switch, unlike the icom7300.
