Removing knob from encoder shaft did not resolve issue. It was already fully depressing, however it still does not work with knob completely removed.
when the radio is turned on sometimes the step indicator is under the first number of the frequency and sometimes under another number. In no event will it move from the position it is in.

A long push in the shaft also does not bring up the memories.

Any other ideas? I filed a ticket with QRP xLabs but so far, no response.
