Re: QCX version 3 PCB volume issue
OK Dave, looks like there's something wrong in the area of R39 and R40.
Those two resistors form a voltage divider from the 12v input and should
show about 6 volts at the junction of the two. That

Should the U4B tracker work on USB power for testing?
I have built a U4B tracker package - powerfilm solar panels, supercaps, shunts.? Hooked up the 20m mag wire antenna for testing.? Powering it via USB. I am not seeing any WSPR transmission on 20m

Hey OM Frank;
Thanks for the nice feedback ! AND I'm thrilled you got things operating on at least one device.

Re: QMX and FLDigi - MFSK modes
Be sure TxID is off and you're using firmware 017. Testing here only Thor, DominoEX, FSQ, FSKH105 & 245, IFKP, and MFSK work. The QMX does not like the other modes even though before firmware 007 they

Re: QMX and FLDigi - MFSK modes
I am having this same issue with RTTY on my low band QMX, firmware level 014. WSJT works fine with FT8.
- fldigi attenuator IS set to 0db (saw the pointer on YouTube about that)
- audio out is 100%

Delivery - impressed
I had notification on Monday that my QMX had been dispatched and expected several weeks of anxious waiting - but was pleasantly surprised when TNT
knocked on my door today.
Three days door to door.

Re: QCX version 3 PCB volume issue
Ok. Then you next should check the bias voltages on the op amp ICs 8,9 and
10. With your DVM you should see about 2.5v on pins 1,2,3,5,6&7 of IC 8 and
on pins 5,6&7 of IC9. You should also see about

Re: QMX firmware install issue?
I have. It ranges from blank to dark. Also forgot to mention that I did carefully check the 2x4 connector.

Re: QMX Hi Band Noise Problem
OK! Nice job on the repair, Dan!
I have seen other ADC failures occur, just a small few. Of all the
components that connect to the 5V distribution, the ADC is the most
vulnerable to overvoltage

JZ,
Well, I got the PCM1804 today and installed it. That cured all the noise problems. So apparently I got a bad chip from the factory. Second one at least, as Martin also had this issue. At least I

A few things assuming QMX vs QDX has similarities.

- audio/mixer outputs all at 100% (yours?)
- Rise and fall thresholds may need
