Re: QCX: Display contrast changes when transmitting
Hi Peter, I ended up bending that same flap on mine. I did it because it hit the top of the toroid when I tried to sandwich the display down. Anyway glad you figured it out. Joel N6ALT

Re: Can't get WSPR spots from U3S after installing LPF Relay kit
I tracked all of this down to a bad BNC connector, I believe the chassis mount connector I have is 75ohm. The center pins are different sizes. Have it running great now on both bands :) -- Ryan

Re: QCX: Display contrast changes when transmitting
Thanks Vin for your suggestion. I think I found the root cause in the meantime: I tried lower values for the pot, and also Arv's suggestion to replace the pot with a 2K2 resistor to ground (this

Re: Clock kit - has anyone had any luck making it scroll through the data?
Hans, Oops. It sounds like I didn't read "ALL" of the manual. I thought the instructions were to scroll the 2-line display. No worries. The clock works wonderfully with two lines. I've had one

Re: Ref: QRSS Ultimate 2: Reference Frequency keeps changing..... SOLVED!
Sorry Roger! ? I have built several QRP Labs kits and always I diode protect for reverse voltage. However, that over voltage application is a bad boy! Yep, I did it once as well!! Cheers! Dave

Re: Changing Bands?
Thanks Hans & Dave. ?Once the kit finally gets here, I can easily build it for 20 meters rather than the 40 meters I originally ordered. Good group here, very quick response to questions. Jim -

Re: QCX Firmware Upgrade Problem With AVRDUDESS
I'd say it was a driver problem too. Google Zadig and give that ago to load the drivers for the USBasp or USBtiny if those are the programmers you are using. I've used them in windows 10 and XP with

Alignment
Hey guys, When I enter ¡°Peak BPF¡± the displayed amplitude is varying somewhat. Several bars. I do my best to come up with the max where the factor on the top right is 8 or 9. The blades of the C1

Re: Changing Bands?
Jim, The microprocessor is pre-programmed for every usable band. You just set it for the band of your choice in ¡°step 1¡± of the alignment process. Dave W7AQK Sent: Monday, October 30, 2017

Re: DC green connector -- how does it open?
From previous posts I take it that Mark is a newbie at building. There is also the possibility that when soldered onto the pcb that solder wicked up into the connector block and soldered the pieces
