Re: Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode
Chuck,
My radio and manual is packed away at the moment -- I'm operating portable this
evening during the IOTA contest from Hutchinson Island NA-141. So I can't look
up the specifics at the moment.

Re: Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode
Hi Ed,
So far, the same Icom string selection has worked with all Icom
rigs. I haven't had a report specifically on the 736 but it should
work. Just select Icom from the rig options.

Re: Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode
I see in the list of rigs that the IC-736 is not listed. Does anyone know if it will work?

Re: Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode
Hi Chuck,
Thanks for your e-mail. I have had good reports from other IC706 MarkIIG
users so I'm sure it is just a matter of getting the com settings right. If any
Icom users have the specifics

Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode
Greetings to the group.
I'm a long-time user of ACLog who has just purchased the cable to connect my rig so I can read the frequency and mode directly into the log. I've tried everything I can think

I have already been using the serial port version (without upgrades)
for several months and it worked very well on the serial port.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the good report.
The problem has been for those of us who want to send CW and use the rig interface features with one serial port in our machines. With the CW parallel port

Re: CW Parallel Port Schematics
I've been using W1GEE's serial CW adapter with great success and no
problems from 7 to 40 wpm.
Is there any advantage to the parallel port adapter? Or is it just a
matter of what's available on

Re: Help with VHFLOG to ACLOG
Thanks for the info Scott.
I can edit dx calls and add the info in the fields after importing the adif
file. Looks like you can count me in on both programs. Thanks again.

Re: Contesting Software Upgrades!
Hi Dee,
Thanks for your e-mail. I have to confess that hardware is not my strength
so I used a parallel interface provided by W1GEE. I'm sure that there are
some schematics out on the web
