Re: Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode

Steven Blary

Chuck,

My radio and manual is packed away at the moment -- I'm operating portable this
evening during the IOTA contest from Hutchinson Island NA-141. So I can't look
up the specifics at the moment. However if my memory is correct all of those
settings seem fine. the actual values of the string data may be off however
the radio ID - 58 seems right. I would confirm that setting in the radio's
menus to be sure but I believe that 58 is the 706's default (I think AClog
defaults to 56) DTR was the proper setting for me as well.

Hopefully you will have it resolved by tomarrow however if you don't let me
know and I'll confirm my settings ...

Good Luck and 73's
Steve Blary, N1XC

P.S. Listen for me on 20 meters SSB for the IOTA contest I should be on the
air by 6pm eastern.
