Re: Help with VHFLOG to ACLOG

Thanks for the info Scott.
I can edit dx calls and add the info in the fields after importing the adif
file. Looks like you can count me in on both programs. Thanks again.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for trying out the software. I am planning to add a feature in a
future version of ACLog that will review records logged/imported and add any
missing data that can be determined from the call such as country, prefix,
etc. I'm not sure if that will make version 2.4 or 2.5 of ACLog but it is
definitely on the top of the enhancements list.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I downloaded vhflog and aclog to give a test run and seem
to have a problem. I set up a test contest with a few dx
contacts in vhflog then used the adif export function to
import the log file into aclog. All went ok but some info
for the dx contacts is not showing in the fields.
ie. country, continent, freq, and prefix info. Is this due to
the contest pgm only looking at calls and grids or am I
missing something in aclog? The reason I ask is I like
the clean layout of Scotts programs and do mostly vhf
contests but want to use aclog to keep track of my 6 meter
dxcc info. If I do a calculate dxcc in aclog it is not showing
the dx worked from the imported vhflog file. Thanks for
the help in advance . Jim N2NRD.
