UTC and Daylight Savings
Hi Scott,
I just noticed that when Daylight savings occurs, the ACLog program
does not adjust for that. Is this expected behavior? I know that
Windows takes care of it automatically, however, ACLog

Hi Mike,
That is plenty of PC. I really don't know why you would be having a
problem converting the data. Like I say, I haven't had any other
reports of problems and that feature has been around

Re: call book import not working
I guess import was the wrong word to use. I'm using the convert fcc
database under the file menu. It worked the first time I used it,
but locks the computer up every time now.

Re: call book import not working
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your E-mail. The FCC and RAC data is not imported into ACLog. The data exists as files on your hard drive with .cal extensions that ACLog accesses for callbook lookup. You can

When I try to import the FCC database into the callbook, it locks
the computer up. I've tryed it 3 different times and it locked up at
3 different stages of the import.

Success reading freq and mode with Icom
Problem solved -- already!
A HUGE thanks to David Whaley, NT9E, who replied with the suggestion that the problem probably was with the Comm port settings more than with the settings within ACLog

Re: Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode
Hello Chuck. Had the same problem with my 706mk 2.
If I remember right I used 4800 N81 with 50 (IC756) in both strings and RTS.
Some of the other Icom codes also worked but fell apart on 50mhz or no

Re: Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode
Chuck,
My radio and manual is packed away at the moment -- I'm operating portable this
evening during the IOTA contest from Hutchinson Island NA-141. So I can't look
up the specifics at the moment.

Re: Can't get ACLog to read freq & mode
Hi Ed,
So far, the same Icom string selection has worked with all Icom
rigs. I haven't had a report specifically on the 736 but it should
work. Just select Icom from the rig options.

I see in the list of rigs that the IC-736 is not listed. Does anyone know if it will work?

Hi Chuck,
Thanks for your e-mail. I have had good reports from other IC706 MarkIIG
users so I'm sure it is just a matter of getting the com settings right. If any
Icom users have the specifics
