vcarve may have options as to step size? with some exceptions related to trajectory planning in mach 4 i have found that mach 4 produces smoother cuts. however i think the biggest change was switching

look into Vcarve (smaller bit or larger spaced text) since the pictures show the bit wouldn't fit in a couple of thos areas. but you'll also have to look at your machine since pic 2 and 3 shows lost

Mach3 Tool Setter macro
For some probably dumb reason in my HiddenScriptm1s file i can't get it to raise the Z axis after contact with the tool setter probe. I have the correct G code and the correct setting of Z .5? to it

At least Tony answered the OP, with some pretty good info. This site is pretty much useless at getting any info from the Mach folks-Brian drops by occasionally, but even that is not consistent.

...have to wonder if your not even using MACHx any longer why stay here and add little to the conversations? (only trash the asset) I have well over 1,000 runtime hrs under MACH3 on my big a__ router

Dedicated controls, they're pretty cheap these days. Toss a bit of gcode at them and off they go, I'm tired of dicking about with PCs. Mostly SmoothieBoards, they'll run a mill/router, laser, 3D
