¿ªÔÆÌåÓýTranscoding is pretty much outside the domain of WPSD. ?The original Pi-Star never transcoded, and WPSD would have followed suit. ?
These suites are built around MMDVMHost and related software, which is not built for transcoding. ?The crossmode functionality is simply protocol conversion between modes that use vocoders in common.
Would it be possible to have transcoding? ?Yes, with some work, there¡¯s software that can do it, and you¡¯d need AMBE hardware to (legally) handle some modes.
However, I am led to believe (from a very good source) there are interesting developments on the horizon.

Robert:
If one is a user of those platforms, please plead your use case for adding M17 as a supported mode to the respective developers.
Every platform has to evolve to meet new issues that arise - bugs, changing networks, etc. They listen to their users¡ or else there won¡¯t continue to be users.
Not being a user of those platforms, I have no standing to suggest adding M17.?
