I run the application on my iPhone XR with no issues. ?Obviously, an IPad or Android Pad would show the fields bigger. ?But as far as logging it identifies the call sign and Park with ease. I’ve been able to add two park identifiers and when I upload the file to POTA it does make two separate entries, which is good. ?You might check there website for documentation or even YouTube for videos.

Mine is currently at the service center for the MARS Mod and warranty service on a power issue.? Won't know how it is going to work out? until I get it back, but from the center, you will have to sign a wavier of any further warranty.
When I inquired about the MARS Mod he sent this:
"It (The MARS Mod) allows the TX-500 to transmit safely within the constraints of the output bandpass filters. The general description would be 1MHz above and below the normal amateur bands.? But never transmit below 1.5 MHz as damage will occur."?
For the MARS Freq's that are outside of 1MHz of the Amateur bands, I'm not so sure if it will really be usable without damaging the radio.

Rodney, you just hit on a subject that I was
very concerned about before I purchased my radio. The ongoing Russian
supply issue is a concern, failure rates, and lack of support. It's a
great radio and I purchased it anyway. I'm just hoping nothing happens
to mine anytime soon.

Hi Norm, Windows defender rarely finds malware. I prefer to be careful... 73! Uwe DK3WW ? ? I have not heard anyone else report it. I can tell you that Windows Defender has no trouble with it. Maybe a false positive from Malwarebytes? I believe they have a process to report those. Otherwise, if you don't think it's a safe site, better not to visit it.

Upon watching the video -- thank goodness for closed captions that are translated -- I noticed the radio is quite wet.? But so is the battery pack.? The battery pack, however is not waterproof.?? So this presents a problem for me.? I use the radio for portable ops in the snow and rain.? Using an external battery, I just have to ensure a few of my connections are free of snow or water.? However the new battery pack provides multiple surfaces for water ingress.?
Am I seeing this issue correctly?? Any comments would be appreciated.
