I just got a call back - right after I sent the message - I think that the main engineer there has been ill for the past few weeks.??

I truly hope they are legit as they have my TX-500 for repair.

However, they did respond timely but have not heard back from them for the last 3 weeks since they have my TX-500.

Regarding MARS mod is there no information online to perform the modification? And what frequencies does the MARS mod give?

I heard that Lab599 has a US-based service center that will do it, BUT despite repeated calls over a few months, no one?ever answers or responds to voicemails.? ?Frankly, I am a bit skeptical of sending my radio to this place.? Has someone had better luck?
