Upon watching the video -- thank goodness for closed captions that are translated -- I noticed the radio is quite wet.? But so is the battery pack.? The battery pack, however is not waterproof.?? So this presents a problem for me.? I use the radio for portable ops in the snow and rain.? Using an external battery, I just have to ensure a few of my connections are free of snow or water.? However the new battery pack provides multiple surfaces for water ingress.?
Am I seeing this issue correctly?? Any comments would be appreciated.
