Re: Might be a dumb question.... #rpi
Hi I have been only following this a little, but if this is a Pi with only 2GB of memory you will have to increase the swap space to get Fldigi to complete its build. Maybe some of the others also. I

Re: Might be a dumb question.... #rpi
After reading the FAQ's last night, I found that the newer versions of build a pi can run the script multiple times to install software. I will give that a run this morning when I get to the machine.

Re: Might be a dumb question.... #rpi
I did go through and try three different installs. On the last one I did the manual checking as you suggested it still had the same result.

So I am trying to install build a pi on a fresh install of Raspbian (on a RPi 3 B+). I run the script from GitHub and input my call, plug in the GPS, hotspot info, etc. I click "check all and

Anyone order a Buddipole Power Mini recently from Buddipole? I hear there is a version 2 with higher USB amps but the site does not mention ver 2 at all? Thanks in advance. KD9HYG.

Re: Makerfocus Powerboard script
Yes, I should have copied that as well. The article in the link mentioned that. I played with a number of things in config.txt to get the display the way I wanted with VNC. -- Al AE2T

Re: U-Blox7 GPS doesn't appear to be working. #PI4
Hi Jason, I have noticed that the GPS/GLONASS direct USB mount dongle is clearly weaker than the G-MOUSE RoHS IPX6 magnetic mount GPS and the GlobalSat BU-353-S4 USB magnetic mount GPS dongles.?

Re: U-Blox7 GPS doesn't appear to be working. #PI4
ok. let's see if the pi is getting the data. In a terminal, run: *cgps* and verify you have GPS data. Provided you do, run this command next: *~/bin/conky/get-grid* and see if it returns your grid

Jumping in here, but keep in mind, my use case is quite limited; mostly just Pat for Winlink access. And even at that, it's mostly just tinkering, and nothing serious. All that said, I am able to

Sorry Garret, I can't answer the question as I have no experience with the D710G. Maybe someone else who owns the rig can jump in here. You might also check the direwolf forum

Anybody running gpsd to read from another Pi?
I'm using the Argon 4 case with SSD and the USB 3.0 ports are jamming the gps dongle. I connected a long USB and that's okay, but is messy and fragile with the cable strewn across the room. I have a
