Noticed a difference in TCP port number between LM and 73 Linux Pi build.? Do you fix Rigctl in Direwolf? Perhaps an incorrect port setting in FLrig??

Do you have flrig running? `-m 4` tells rigctl to use flrig for rig
control and it expects it usually on port 12345. (on localhost)

Problem got better - when starting packet modem RIGCTL flashed green then went red. Still don't read frequency from radio. FLrig was turned on and is working.

Jason, I'm curious what you mean by the term REPO.? I did a format on my sd card, 64 bit debian build with Bookworm, and fresh 73 Linux install.? WINE doesn't install unless you do it under Pi Apps.? I had to run install on it and VARA HF twice for it to install those programs properly.? I did VARA FM with the WINE command, no problems with it except puts it under WINE tools instead of ham radio.? Easy fix.?

I put 73 Linux on an old laptop and it works so much better than debian.? I just like the power consumption of the pi 4 better for use as a RMS gateway.

Linux73 doesn’t install

 

I tried to install 73Linux on a WoWe computer with Linux mint installed. First time the menu to enter my call sign. Second time it did I tried to choose a few things. And it ever installed. I guess iwill have to reinstall Linux and the 73Linux. Any ideas? ?I want to use this for FT8 and Js8 and Winlink. Any help appreciated,

There's 3 columns that need to be on each line. Each column is separated by a space.
FALSE is the first column. Tells the checkbox to be blank in YAD
Second column is what gets posted to the body of the email. This is the line responsible for the actual request via Winlink and comes from the Winlink catalog.
Third line is a description and CAN NOT include any spaces.

pi4/5 power supply

 

What do you recommend for getting battery power to the pi4/5?? on my pi 3, i used a 5v battery back and some wall wort charger types.? I usually got the lighting saying that i had low voltage on the pi 3b.

Disregard, found it. have to run programs twice for them to install properly.? Pi apps only has VARA HF so used Jason's update VARA Linux to get VARA FM installed.? on a good note my GPS is working again with the clean install.??

Modifying weather.txt

 

Good morning,
I am trying to set up the weather.txt so that I can select areas in Canada. By default, Pat only has US locations. I have found the weather.txt file and added the information to get the weather where I live but in the menu selection it still shows LAS VEGAS where I put in the city where I live.
?
Suggestions on how to fix this? Is there another file that I need to modify?

Mostly, I need pat winlink, and hotspot capability. But other programs might be needed to like flrig, ardop, and other related programs, so the question is:

Is the latest (bookworm) ok, or do I need to go with legacy (bullseye) ?

I am trying to get ROTCTLD to connect my Rotor and I keep getting failures.
?I checked and made sure that the rotor was connected as: /dev/ttyUSB0
The GETHUB for the AntRunner Rotor just had the command : ? 
rotctld -vvvvv -m 2401 -r /dev/ttyUSB0
The rotor works with hamlib on my windows laptop and with Gpredict on the lap, as well.?
I'm sure that i am missing something simple. The rotor is listed in hamlib as
