Came over Forester Pass NOBO on the 18th. No snow on either side except for the ever-present snow field on the North side. Easily walked over or detoured around.

When I did the JMT in 2020, we took a zero day pretty deep into Sixty Lakes Basin. Tons of options back there. We even saw some Bighorn sheep. Other options include Dragon Lake and less off the beaten
