I cancelled a Bishop Pass permit for one on September 4 a few minutes ago. It has not appeared as available yet. I think that the system might release it at 10 am Eastern/7 am Pacific. Since the JMT trailheads are booked up for that date, I thought I'd post here hoping that someone who can use it grabs the permit when it shows up. Of course, there is another big opportunity for permits when the two week window arrives and Inyo releases what were formerly called "walk up" permits.?
