HP 10511A Spectrum Generator
Helo, is there any information about this, i think, a comb generator, available in this group? I expect it's a SRD-Based device, but i didn't knew any working conditions for it, i.e. (max) input

Re: HP 8566B ROMs available
Interesting point. I just checked my service manuals, and it appears that there is indeed an attenuator-correction ROM in the 8566B. The HP guys didn't cut any corners on this piece of gear! It is

Re: HP8601A Generator/Sweeper
Hello! Talking about HP8601As.... I have a couple of them (50 Ohm versions; be sure the one you find is not a 75 Ohm version!) but, unfortunately, one has a bad output power amplifier. I wonder if

HP 8566B ROMs available
I've submitted the EPROM firmware from my HP8566B to Bruce Lane's archive: ftp://ftp.bluefeathertech.com/pub/electronics/testgear/HP/firmware/8566B/ Filename is hp8566b_9_29_86.zip . These image

Re: HP8601A Generator/Sweeper
Hello again Andi, Good choice. Though if that's all you intend to do, then a marker gen might be superfluous. It's of more use when you need to set up a pass-band across a fairly wide frequency range,

436A heads (8481A etc) and repair
Just out of curiosity, has anyone attempted to do this at home? Or is this another "Don't try this at home kids" kinda thing.

Re: HP 3505 Microwave Switch
Hi Lennart: My guess is that it's a PIN diode switch. Get out your DMM and set it to the "diode" function and try all possible paths (both directions) between the case, input center pin and output

Re: HP8601A Generator/Sweeper
Hello Rob, thanks for the quick answer! I want to use the 8601 for alignment of broadcast type radios. However, I must admit that I, in theory, know how to to just that but am still not relly clear

Re: HP8601A Generator/Sweeper
Hi there, I've had an HP8601A for about 5 years. It worked perfectly when I got it, and it still does. It's a very nice instrument, and very useful for all manner of things, particularly filter

HP8601A Generator/Sweeper
