Interesting point.? I?just checked my service
manuals, and it appears that there is indeed an?attenuator-correction ROM
in the 8566B.? The HP?guys didn't cut any corners on this piece of
gear!??It?is a separate part installed on A12, the front-panel
keyboard assembly.? (A12U8, to be specific.)?

The zipfile I posted contains only the main
operating firmware, from the 68000 CPU board.? I'm pretty sure that the
images aren't serialized or otherwise tied to the specific instrument they came
from.

this corrections are depand on the preticuler step
attenuator in the instrument so its different from instrument to
instrument.
