Re: MATLAB GPIB Instrument Control Applications
Wow, excellent contributions. I have been wondering if I could get my power supply to act as a rudimentary curve tracer over GPIB and it looks like you've already done it. I only have a self-built

Re: 16601
I didn't notice those, thanks.? Downloaded. I'll contact Keysight and see if they have a copy somewhere else since nothing is referenced online regarding the 16601A when I checked.

Re: 16601
A 16600 series should be easy to open. Two T-10 screws on the top edge of the case on the back, plus two T-15 screws holding the carry handle on the side. Then the case should just slide off

Re: Bad 1820-0986 in 5340a Counter
Thanks for the suggestions. It ends up the 74160 is pin compatible with the 86L75, and I found a 74LS160 in the lab. The counter is back up and running. Gary Appel Sent: Monday, October 01, 2018 12:33

Re: MATLAB GPIB Instrument Control Applications
Nifty! I didn't know there were GPIB bindings in MATLAB. I don't recall any limitations regarding two-point calibration at 1601 points on the 8753C. Is that documented somewhere, or just a limitation

Re: Bad 1820-0986 in 5340a Counter
You could probably use a dm76l75, it's functionally identical with slightly different ratings (like the 54/74 TTL chips). These guys say they have 3 in stock, don't know at what price
