Try transmitting at lower power and see if it has any problems. If it doesn't then check the voltage at the DC connector going into the radio and make sure you are getting excessive Voltage drop under

CHIRP does not back up the hidden menu. The only way I've dealt with them is to store all the values in a spreadsheet when I buy the radio, then set them to that value if they somehow get changed. 73,
