First question would be: Does the Green LED flash for some time, then go solid? ? If not, then the TT4 is not getting the GPS data.
Are you using a splitter that allows both computer and GPS? ?? The Byonics splitter has a port for the computer and one for the GPS with proper connectors.
?? Without a splitter, you must configure AMODE and ABAUD must be set to the GPS configuration. ?? BMODE and BBAUD won't matter without the splitter ???
NOTE:? The TT4 always starts out at 19200 baud and after initialization, changes to the ABAUD and AMODE settings.? This means you can still make settings change on PORT A, even if it is set to GPS.
If that isn't it, you need to provide more details: ?? What firmware is in the TT4? ?? Explain you connections to GPS and radio ?? Post your settings and we can review them to provide more comments.

I believe that should work but you have to make sure the program is closed before you make any changes otherwise next close will override all settings.?

aprs.fi supports a wild card search function that APRSISCE doesn't as far as I know. APRS.fi is also a full IS stream that stores data for years. APRSISCE is bound by your display filters, specific SSIDs and only data that is within the expiration timer of the stations.

The find function works for stations already on your map (ssid specific). IF you start a find function without it on your map it now adds it to your dynamic filter and can trigger a multitrack window the NEXT time that station is seen on the IS Stream, but you have to wait for it.?
Are the stations you're trying to find already on your map? Are you using the exact SSID? Are you utilizing tacticals in any way?

It looks like I must have turned something off by accident. I deleted everything and reinstalled the software from a fresh download and it worked out of the box (I did have the correct passcode set up). It will just be one of life's mysteries as to what I did to break it...

I THINK if you go here and uncheck the box it will stop what you are referring to.
I may be wrong, but the quick test I did yielded this result.
Alternatively, when a station pops up in a multitrack window you can click on the station and unselect the multitrack option in that list as well.
Again, very quick testing this morning so mileage may very on results.
