Hi Charlie: So it looks like it will take 25% more amps at 11 volts to produce the 13.8 volts for charging. I think heavier wire to reduce the resistance would be cheaper, you may need the heavier

I think Bruce is correct. I missed the green wire in the photo. Dave ........ I think the green wire on your new converter can be connected to the same wire as the brown wire was from your old

I think the green wire on your new converter can be connected to the same wire as the brown wire was from your old converter. It appears from the second picture that you posted that the new converter
