Re: Gps app

Gps app I like is? ?"here WeGo"? sometimes just "here" or "HERE".? It is totally free app and free to download maps.
You can download all the maps to your phone so you don't have to use any data or if you travel where there is no cell coverage (or where data might be expensive like other country or reservations).
They offer from individual states to the entire continent to download.? Takes about 8GB to download USA so make sure you are on WiFi for a while.? You can change settings to use the SD card.? Even download most any country around the world.
They have traffic info if you leave your data on (free).? I noticed my Chrysler uses HERE map data but don't want to spend to update it.? So I plug my phone in and use CarPlay or Android Auto to use Here WeGo on the big display.

It has great speed limit info that is very detailed, really nice when in and out of speed changes going thru towns.? Even set the number of MPH over the limit to get the beep warning...and unlike others, will keep reminding you each time you cross the limit you set.
I notice google/waze often ignores the limit changes going thru towns and last I checked, doesn't make a sound.

I have used it worldwide for 9 years.? It has been upgraded to include waypoints in the last couple years.? When hooked up to the car, they limit keyboard, so just look up your destinations the night before so they show in the "recent" tab, especially if you want to force specific route.
