Re: Super Ikonta III shutter issue

As far as I know only closing the film gate and winding will activate the counting allowing to release the shutter every frame.
Rolleicords without ruby windows are the same, positioning the film arrows at the marks, close and wind.

Also have a look at the other images in that album.?

Indeed probably gummed up or a dislocated/broken spring.?

If you wind till frame #1, can you release the shutter button? Cock the shutter before that :)

That black dot indicates that the counter was reset. So that part seems to be OK.

Must be a problem underneath the topcover then.

Iain,

The slip on lens hoods have slits in them that allow you to push in some sections to tighten the hood enough. However they
are susceptible to being knocked off. The only thread bon your lens is the 25.5mm. A smaller lens hood is preferable as they
allow you to set the f-stop without removing the hood as a larger one would force you to do. The Canon hood you mention, if
it fits tightly enough would in my experience allow you to turn the hood and aperture ring together to set your f-stop. Of
course you have to set your f-stop before focusing or you will lose focus. Also be careful not to collapse the lens while setting
your f-stop this way.

Re: Lens hood and filter size of CZJ Tessar 5/3.5 collapsible

The screw in filter size is 25.5mm and 27mm and 42mm slip on for the CZJ Tessar 5cm 1:3.5 lens.
It also can be used with the collapsable lens hood but its more challenging to set the aperture
(f-stop) with the collapsable hood and they are relatively rare.

Also, I believe that the filter size is 25.5mm. Is that correct?

Thanks?
