Aanstuur is m.i. forward(ing), wat iets heel anders is. ? Hoe meer ek daaroor dink, hoe meer besef ek dat “push messaging” of “push notification” niks nuuts is nie. Dis dieselfe as ’n opskietkieslys, wat jy kry as ’n gegewe sleuteldruk vir jou inlig dat jy uit ’n aantal opsies kan kies (soos belyning links of regs of gesentreerd, ens.) ? Dit gaan net een stap verder: ’n push message kry jy vanself, sonder om daarna te vra. Dis dus amper dieselfde as gemorspos en hengelboodskappe (phishing), wat nou wel deur iemand geskep word, maar rekenaarmatig versprei word. Albei is voorbeelde van ongevraagde pos. ? Die verskillende tipes boodskappe word deeglik bespreek by . Daaruit blyk dat daar nie altyd bose bedoelings daaragter skuil nie; bemarking is ’n baie algemener oorgmerk. Dis ook so dat mens in sommige gevalle kan kies of jy sulke boodskappe (bv. van Spar of Woolies) wil sien of nie. Soms is hulle ook wenslik: in sommige van die nuutste motors kry jy outomaties boodskappe oor jou voertuigstatus, soos dat jy hom na xxx km moet diens, voorgestelde datum (wat jy kan verander), of die handelaar jou kar moet kom haal en al sulke goete.
