Re: Left side audio only
Hi Cezar,
It is possible but unlikely that this is caused by a problem with the
firmware or EEPROM values in the microprocessor. Run the SO2R Box Utility,
press Connect to connect to the SO2R Box,

Re: Left side audio only
Cezar
I would look for an unsoldered connection, probably around the relays.
I'd also look for an unsoldered connection at the audio input/output jacks.

I’ve just bought used YCCC SO2R+ box. Successfully installed all the needed software, virt com ports etc. The box work properly with N1MM. Keying both radios and switching focus. The only

Re: SO2R+ Box keeps losing its settings/corrupting its firmware.
Inexplicably, the SO2R+ box has started to remember the settings again.
I'll be in touch if the situation changes.
Weird.

Re: SO2R+ Box keeps losing its settings/corrupting its firmware.
Great!
Thanks, Paul.
I do have a PIC programmer in the drawer. I can't remember ever having used it before, if I'm honest...
I'll look into it.
Cheers,
John

You can program it yourself if you have access to a programmer. The
necessary files are on the website.

$19 shipping!
Do I need to buy the device pre-programmed, or could I source one over here and program it myself?
Cheers,
John

Yes, I have replacement PICs available. PIC itself is $5, but postage to
get it to England is $19!

Re: SO2R+ Box keeps losing its settings/corrupting its firmware.
The settings are stored in EEPROM in the microprocessor. If you reset the
EEPROM using the SO2R Box utility and it does not keep the new values
across a power cycle then I think the microprocessor

SO2R+ Box keeps losing its settings/corrupting its firmware.
I've been using my YCCC SO2R+ 4-radio box for several years now, and I'm very pleased with it.
Just lately, however, it seems that, each time I switch it on, it has 'forgotten' its settings and

Hi Roger,
The circuitry that drives the LEDs is pretty simple. If they are not
lighting then the microprocessor is probably not running the SO2R Box code.
Check that there is +5V on the

Hi Yuri,
The 4 radio capability was added because many VHF contesters have more than
two radios.
Unfortunately N1MM Logger+ does not have much support for more than two
radios. The only logger I
