Thank you!
We are more traditional type people. Super modern we are not. Lol. ?I like a little country but not over the top. ?My sister is crazy into country. (Like to the point of ridiculous)
I’ve thought about doing some pretty tile on the wall above the counters. ?
Yes, plants! ?I haven’t moved my plants over there. ?Need to figure that out. I wish the kitchen window was a Bow window to have a deep sill. ?May have to have a talk with hubby about that!

Connie - what a great space! That's the size of an NYC apartment. FWIW - decide on whether you like super modern, country, outdoor natural, etc style to start. Then you can look at drawer pulls to match that style. Look at mags online that you like, whether it's Architectural Digest, Veranda, Better Homes, whatever. Even the Ikea catalog, or Restoration Hardware. They all have websites with ideas. Houzz and AT as Jaya mentioned are also good for inspiration. Spotlights, downlights will all modernize the space. Color theory: if you want to minimize the yellow-orange of the cabinets, stay away from purple and blue shades for the walls. Think about whether staining the cabinets something like a deeper?shade of mahogany or walnut might?be?worth doing if you want to keep the look of the wood. Or whitewashing them or staining a light grey if you want to go lighter. Think about whether something like subway tile for the walls might be good, even if it's down the line. I think?on AT they also show these stickon?wallpaper options people use for backsplashes that are reasonable and really change the look of a space. Also, plants. They'll liven up the space too.?
Mostly, congratulations!

Hi Connie
no decorating guru here but, if possible, I’d get rid of the fan & lights. Looks a bit old fashioned! Lots of down lights in the ceiling would work I think.
What a huge kitchen, could fit 3 of mine in there!?
