Re: Direction finding settings don't seem to save in beacon configuration
Hi, Scott.
Bear in mind that PHG data is not describing the same thing as DFS data is, so what they display is not related.

Re: APRS.fi
Good evening
When I add the APRS-IS filter, the data stream stops. When I look at the raw packets, there are no lines of data, and the map stops updating. BTW, that¡¯s for any filter I add.

Re: APRS.fi
No, the "o/" filter is for object names (for example, marking a rest stop on a public service event).
You would want the filter "u/APFI*" which would match the tocall for the aprs.fi iOS app.

Thanks for the reply. I have several stations around me that are
announcing PHG values, however when I turn on the direction finding layer I
expect to see something different on the map. What should

Re: APRS.fi
Only if you have an APRS-IS connection in YAAC with a filter expression that selects your Internet-only iOS app's packets for forwarding to your YAAC station.
Normal iOS app packets won't get

Is there a way to have >aprs.fi via aprsfi-iOS populate on the YAAC map?

Re: RF Only NOGATE
No, it's YAAC doing the Tx I-gating. Notice in the RF header the src>dst is yourcallsign>APJYC1. APJYC1 is the tocall assigned to YAAC. It's a "belt-and-suspenders" thing in YAAC that it specifies the

I¡¯m using Direwolf without IG active. I have mycall and the Linux port in the Direwolf.conf only.
So the ¡°rfonly nogate¡± must be Direwolf message not YAAC.

Ah, yes, thank you for reminding me to fix that. That says that WB9BLA-7 acknowledged your text message over the APRS-IS backbone, but you are Tx I-gating it on to local RF because it's a text message

Thank you for finding a bug in the beacon configuration panel. It will be fixed in the next build of YAAC.
