Re: To Andrew-Please consider
CATS looks interesting to me as well. I've put myself on the list to be notified when some hardware is available on their store. Hopefully in the next week or two.

ADS-B on YAAC
Greetings Andrew -
Thanks for integrating an ADS-B viewer into YAAC. I run an ADS-B receiver in the truck, and especially when I'm out in the middle of nowhere it's nice to be able to ID aircraft

Re: YAAC and AIS-Catcher?
Hmmm... that's odd. Are the AIS stations remaining on the map and the Station/Object List, or only on the Vessel list?
I do need to tweak the Vessel list so it supports the Clear Real-time Table menu

Re: YAAC and AIS-Catcher?
Hi Andrew!
The AIS plug-in has been working great, thank you for the updates. I did notice though that when an AIS object is spotted and tracked the object will show for days after no packets have

Re: Sound Plugin Stopping
Apparently it was a transient glitch. I ran for a week receiving 4+
messages every day, no problems, followed by a week with no messages
received, then checked into APRS Thursday and it sounded for

Re: Sound Plugin Stopping
I've had running for 10 straight days now and it's still playing the .wav file successfully. I don't think I can replicate the problem.
Per chance, is your plugin-selected sound card on USB, and did

Re: Monitoring a single port?
The filters when applied to Station/Object list does seem to give me only the TNC source as I want.
However, when the filters are applied, the Last Rcvd column does not sort correctly. Without the

Re: Monitoring a single port?
That is true. The Heard Stations view doesn't use YAAC's filtering capability.
I will look into fixing this. Also, you might find other views (such as the Station/Object list) that might provide the

Andrew,
I am a new YAAC user. I found the filter to works well as you describe here as far as viewing Raw Packets.
However, when I view Heard Stations, the filter doesn't seem to block the APRS-IS

Re: To Andrew-Please consider
Well, YAAC is already dual-mode APRS and OpenTRAC, so one more wouldn't be a huge stretch. The issue is the API to the radio/modem.

To Andrew-Please consider
Andrew please consider being the first APRS/CATS dual mode software. This
looks good! I'll help where I can.

Re: YAAC - Installed on inovato Quadra but no USB to TNC option
The first picture is of my rig - the Argent board is installed, along with their USB adapter.
The DB9 connector and cable are present - as pictured - just not connected.
In the Argent Data sample

Re: YAAC - Installed on inovato Quadra but no USB to TNC option
So where's the Alinco's original DB9 connector and cable? Did you take it out? It should have been connected to the connector on the Argent Tracker board that didn't come with a cable pre-attached to

Re: YAAC - Installed on inovato Quadra but no USB to TNC option
Andrew, the Arget board is connected to the radio board with a 10 pin connector or similar cable. Does this then connect to the serial port on the back of the radio?

The DB9 connector isn't ... connected ... to anything.
The internal connection it uses is being used by the Argent Data board.

Re: YAAC - Installed on inovato Quadra but no USB to TNC option
Well, another alternative is to ignore the USB pigtail coming out of the radio and use the DB9 connector with a USB-to-RS232 adapter instead. If you have the relevant hardware, try that and see if it
