Re: YAAC - Installed on inovato Quadra but no USB to TNC option

Andrew, the Arget board is connected to the radio board with a 10 pin connector or similar cable. Does this then connect to the serial port on the back of the radio?

But there should have been another connection on the Argent board for the DB9 to connect to. The no-installed-daughter-board use of the internal cable is to bring the audio and PTT connections to the DB9 for connection to an external TNC. To quote the directions from the Argent manual:
To install the board, disconnect power to the radio and remove the four screws holding on the bottom cover plate. A multi-colored cable connects the rear connector to the radio’s main board. Remove the cable from the radio board, plug it in to the receptacle on the T3-135 board, and plug the T3-135 board’s cable into the radio board. The supplied hook and loop fastener can be used to secure the T3-135 board to the VCO case. Hope that helps. The internal connection it uses is being used by the Argent Data board.
