Re: last version-outernet
Hi Andrew
attached you can find some of the txt file in the directory.
I can imagine how hard is to find out a way to process (?) this data. Some of the txt file have only one message , other? two

Re: last version-outernet
I was afraid that would happen. Could you send me one of those .txt files you showed me in the web directory listing, to make sure the contents still have the same format? It's going to be ugly

next beta build#148 of YAAC, created 2020-Mar-26
After a long wait, the next build is out. The SSL interface to APRS-IS should be working again, as long as your Logbook Of The World certificate is current (if not, get it renewed).

Re: YAAC on Windows XP
YAAC only works on systems where a Java runtime of at least Java major release 7 is installed. I don't believe there is a Java runtime installer that will work on Windows XP (at least not one for Java

Re: Configuration for fill-in digipeater / RF <> IS Igate
Hi, Aaron.
Took a while to figure this out.
I think the reason for your problem is that your Pocket Packet didn't send a position beacon through the I-gate before it started text messaging. As such,

Re: Yet another newbie question.
Thanks for the really quick response Andrew. Perhaps I will just look for another software that will work with direwolf to handl this and stick to APRS for YAAC.? ?I'm jsut really curious how much

Re: YAAC Email
Since Winlink is broken can EMAIL-2 be substituted in the interface? And
is Winlink really broken? I see the messages back and forth as just a
failed login to send.

Re: Yet another newbie question.
I can't say what those other stations actually are, so you'll have to try.
Regarding old-style connected packet mode: In theory, you should be able to do so. As long as DireWolf just passes all AX.25

Re: YAAC Email
Unless things have changed, you can send (not receive!) email from
an APRS client by sending a message to EMAIL-2, with a message
consisting of the email address, a space, and the message

Re: YAAC Email
Please let us know. Several folks said it as working last week so this
could be a process down or a change in the Winlink system.

Re: YAAC Email
Yet again I stumble. I meant sending WINLINK email via APRS is what I was told was obsolete. There is a way to send generic email via APRS. I just do not know the details. I think my son got it

Re: YAAC Email
I just thought I was going crazy.. ok, at least only partly crazy..Email Obsolete?? Perhaps, but I am just getting my feet wet with APRS after a long sleep from Packet Radio in the 80s.
