I'd like to thank Andrew for his work & dedication on this project. It seems to me that YAAC is the only non-outdated standalone APRS today¡
As already mentioned, YAAC switches to German when running on a localized operating system (Ubuntu 20.04 and Raspian Buster in my case). In a number of cases the (automated) translation does not work out.
Example: "pan to local station position" on the Map screen. Google translated "to pan" not as a verb, but as a noun. Result: the word "pan" was translated as "frying pan"¡
How can I contribute there?
In the Zip-file I downloaded from sourceforge I could not find any source files containing language information¡
I think in a first step it makes sense not to post every single mistranslated term in this forum here - there are many. It would be nice if I could edit a file containing all German language terms. The updated file could then simply be merged without much effort.
