The Kenwood D710 is a TNC2-compatible, so just pick that pre-programmed setting,
When you configured the Serial_TNC port, did you enable transmits and specify your callsign?

Thanks. I didn't have any trouble connecting to the radio with PuTTY. I am using the Serial_TNC mode in YACC. The radio is set to "PACKET12". I understand the Kenwood has a limited buffer size but it should be able to send something. Sometimes it works for receive, but it never works for transmit. What setting should I put in for "Command to enter KISS mode"?
