Re: Replacement Internal Battery
?Yes I already replaced the internal battery in my X6100. It is relatively easy, put I would advise not to be in a hurry. However, you will break the warranty seal and you will lose the Xeigu

Re: Replacement Internal Battery
I saw a video about battery replacement - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY9Dp9rvjl8. It's on Russian, but you can turn on CC. Hope it might help. -- Georgy // R2RFE

Replacement Internal Battery
Although I haven't yet taken my X6100 apart I suspect that the battery has taken a dump.? The radio will boot, and after a minute or so, quicker if I key the microphone, it will shut off.? It

I am using this and works very well with voltage down to 10VDC. Digital Buck Boost Voltage Regulator DC 6-30V to DC 0.5-30V 5V 12V 24V Adjustable Voltage Converter with USB Port Case LCD Display Model
Re: Heat sinks do work.
Randy this is what I use from my 12vdc go box to the radio. It puts out 9vdc and the x6100 can do 10 watts with no problem. The 9vdc reduces heat with the radio and the aluminum fins on the

Re: Heat sinks do work.
You can't reduce input POWER, but you can reduce input VOLTAGE to 10V. Don't use a resistor - the current draw is not constant, so you won't get a consistent voltage drop, plus you're just putting the

Re: Heat sinks do work.
What¡¯s an easy way to reduce input power to 10 watts? (All my DC sources are 12-14 watts.) Is it as simple as putting an inline + resistor to drop down the voltage?

Re: R1CBU firmware 0.27.0 - WSPR ?
I would definitely use WSPR on this radio if it was available, but I also appreciate the work that has gone in already - it really is so much better than the stock firmware! Many thanks Gavin

Well, I guess it might be implemented) I'm not sure about the next release, though. I'm less than a year old ham operator and I never used RTTY. I need some time to dive into it. §Ó§ã, 10 §ß§à§ñ§Ò.

Thanks you. If I understand you correctly, app already have this setting. It's called "Freq magnification" or something like this. Just try to disable it. -- Georgy // R2RFE
