I use the GPS dongle and it works well with the R1CBU version 0.19.0 to set time and location. The only problem, which is not a problem for me, is the presence of the USB device disables the screen keyboard. Version 0.19.0 sees the usb port is being used and acts as if an external keyboard is plugged in.

I am. I'm using a cheap usb dongle from Amazon. It works great!
