Can we also get an idea somewhere what has changed and thus what to try out? Maybe I have missed yet another evident thing...
I haven't seen the improved SNR logging feature, Rx menu item sequence or just the 'About' '2025' update, to name a few items requested earlier, so I kind of wonder what it is all about.

No Modulation with Ftdx101D

I'm trying to restart FLDigi after having given up a long time ago
Apparently I have the CAT, it decodes well but if I click on a macro to switch to transmission it sends a continuous carrier no modulation
?
I think it's a setting linked either to Hamlib or the internal sound card of my FTdx101D ?

Hello Dave,
The passband option was not there before, thus I assume this may have been the issue last time.
Since the RSID signal only contains a standardized code for the DigiMode (and by its nature the approximate audio frequency for tuning), the callsign is, generally, not yet known at this point.
In a QSO, you may know it from the previous messages, but any new station may call in instead and thus the previous call would not match either.
So I guess you may need to keep track of the calls independently.
For your net, have you tried using Thor or MFSK before? Thor is very forgiving in terms of tuning errors, MFSK, so far, the most robust and rather fast mode, but it requires precise tuning. You probably know that W1AW uses MFSK16 for its 'QST' radiograms, we in Europe usually prefer the double speed MFSK32 for QTCs and Ham nets on shortwave.

I have checked "run as administrator" the fldigi.exe file properties, which closes this problem. I'm quite surprised to see that this software which I installed as any other software makes such a difference between normal users and administrator.

In order to find a solution I "ran as admistrator" fldigi, checked Portaudio and flrig, "saved config" in the top menu and it works: after closing fldigi it restarts with Portaudio checked. If I start it as normal user Portaudio is not checked. I'm quite surprised but I found a solution to my problem even if this problem is faced by nobody else!

I still have this problem: the button "Save config" does not work on my computer.
In order to possibly edit a configuration file I opened "File" " Folders" - "Fldigi config..." which sent me in my "User" folder where I found a "fldigi.files" folder but I did not find a configuration file there.
Does a member of this group where this configuration file is and what is its name. When I find it I will try to edit it in order that Portaudio is permanently checked.

I have downloaded the latest version of fldigi and am trying to get Flmsg and flamp to load for autostart.? On earlier versions of fldigi there was a way to do it from the control panel, but I am not seeing that on the new version.? Maybe I'm missing something
