The later design (after 9th month 1965) Mustang temperature sensor is apparently a larger size.? If Diana the Greek Goddess of wild animals (and obviously those who labour on Willys vehicles) turns her favour in your direction, it might be possible the larger Mustang sensor will fit in your engine without the trouble of an adapter.?
