The last time l had a no start like you describe it was the timing. Try turning the distributor a little bit.
The valves are in the block. How are they going to hit the pistons?

Be careful you have the timing correct because you may have valves hitting pistons. With the plugs out you should be able to turn it over with a socket and ratchet.

still got a 6 volter but jumped up to 8 volts. I don't out run the head lights any more..

and just didn¡¯t seem to have the oommmpppphhhh to fully turn over. Like a low battery but battery less than 1yr old and registering a little over 6amps. I¡¯m trying to find a way to NOT fry my 6volt gauges and system yet give it a little more turnover juice¡.
