So why do so many people use 20 or even 18?" I can see a situation where a feeder could be longer than three feet in a yard or multiple-deck layout. Using heavier gauge wire can't hurt anything, but it does seem to be overkill. If all the practices posted by all the engineers out there were used, a layout could survive in deep space. I am convinced that if people would simply go to your site and take if for the standard, there wouldn't be so many varying opinions. Jerry Michels
