sabrina. Are you getting any heat inside the chimney part of the refer?
On mine it is on the right hand side of the unit when you lift the access
door. When running on gas, a fire burns in here to make it cold and on
110 volts or 12 volts it's a resistance heating element. If this area
dosen't get heated up you don't get cold food. Someone else can give you
the whole story on absorption refrigeration. I'm happy to just chalk it
up to magic. Jim
