Think there is a totally different feeling riding in the front of a
vehicle and in the rear of an RV.
Lookin out the side mirror or front window gives a different perspective
of that 18 wheeler than watching it pass foot by foot next to the rig
from a couch or eay chair.
Felt sort of unsafe in a micromini at first but it soon passed. Most of
my scariest moments in other vehicles, hate to admit it, were goin too
fast or tryin to pull some cute type of maneuver. ( just an aside but
sort of scary when someone relates a blowout story at 70-80 mph- had a
blowout at 55 and ,while scary, cant imagine it at 75 or so).
In the Toyota (4) , I dont (cant) do much over 55-60 and dont do "dumb"
maneuvers cause I know I cant.
In military Airborne was an old saying "there are old troopers and there
are bold troopers ,but, there are no ,old , bold troopers". Been about
80,000 mi in my 24' Dolphin and it has helped me not be bold. Hope it
gets me old (er).
Good travelin!!!!
