I’m no expert, but did you make sure
that you installed the non-SoftRock 40 version of power SDR first?? I ran into
similar problems when I mixed up the install.

When I
click on the Power SDR icon on the Desktop, the SDR dialog box comes up and it has "Softrock 40
Edition". The loading bar moves from left to right. At about the halfway point of
loading,another dialog box comes over the top of the SDR dialog box "unhandled
exception". The loading stops. I have tried deleting the SDR
programs and .NET Framework, and downloading again, and reinstalling
them. No change - still "unhandled exception". Computer is
3.2 Ghz with 1Gb memory running win XP Home Edition. Any suggestions? My
SoftRock-40 card is working on the bench. Bob Bartel
