Mtr2000 wireline
I'm trying to figure out why our mtr2000 isn't passing any audio. We're
using an external repeater controller through the wireline connector. This
is new to us, and we're trying to get things set up

You guys are making me sick here. I haven't heard of people in 6 m down
here in Southeast Texas and it's one of my favorite bands!

Re: Attempting to program a Maxon SM2150. Looking for proper prog cable. Have software.
Thanks Max.
Too involved for me. I thought I could find am SMP2000 prog. cable and program thru the mike jack. (I have no info on the D shell 15 pin connector on rear of radio above power cable.

Re: MTR2000 channel steering
I've never done it with the MTR 2000 but I suspect it would be channel
steering using the GPIOs via wildcard programming.. I've only stuck an MTR
2000 on only one frequency

6M has been open MANY times over the past month or 2 to Oregon. And since we're at the peak of the cycle, this summer should be great!

Re: 220Mhz ACSB amplifier
Interesting subject and? Mike will 6M open to Oregon this year?
I evaluated a Linear Modulation Tech PA, w/ 24Vdc it took a +8dBm input to deliver 100W CW.
I considered using one for my ACSB repeater

Re: Attempting to program a Maxon SM2150. Looking for proper prog cable. Have software.
It may be worth a look to the SPC-4000 or SM-4000 cable.
I have a similar GE version of this radio, sm-4150.
Radio is programmed with a serial cable connecting to a six pin connector
on the radios

Re: 220Mhz ACSB amplifier
All 220 Linear amps should work great on 220 FM without any mods except maybe the addition of a small fan but even the fan isn't really required.
