Due to my former company keeping my Kenwood programming cables, I'm kind of stuck right now. I've got two tk790s I need to reprogram the frequencies and I know that front panel programming won't allow me to do that. I've got an old microphone with the connector and want to make up my own programming kpg 43 but I can't find the schematic anywhere. Don't be a smart ass and tell me to go buy one, as some people have previously done in other post. I don't have time! I know transmit and receive data is carried on one pin but how do you interface that to a FTDI? Resistors or is a xstr needed? I have searched everywhere and can't find the damn schematic for this thing. I know I used to have it but I lost it on an old hard drive.
