Due to my former company keeping my Kenwood programming cables, I'm kind of stuck right now. I've got two tk790s I need to reprogram the frequencies and I know that front panel programming won't allow me to do that. I've got an old microphone with the connector and want to make up my own programming kpg 43 but I can't find the schematic anywhere. Don't be a smart ass and tell me to go buy one, as some people have previously done in other post. I don't have time! I know transmit and receive data is carried on one pin but how do you interface that to a FTDI? Resistors or is a xstr needed? I have searched everywhere and can't find the damn schematic for this thing. I know I used to have it but I lost it on an old hard drive.

The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either¡ªbut right through every human heart¡ªand through all human hearts. This line shifts. Inside us, it oscillates with the years. And even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained.
