There is a good comparison in the TKR section of RB. Basically the TKR851 is the same vintage as the TKR850 version 2 which gives a few improved? features that the TKR850 version (1) does not have, including different, improved? programming software.(KPG91)
?Very nice repeater with great repeat audio if you use the built in controller which only does CW ID , hang time and time out as well as TT control of repeat disable/ enable- just the very basic control.

The 751/851 were originally the "European" versions but JVCKenwood brought them into the US market a few years before the line was discontinued.
The ONLY difference between the 750/850 and the 751/851 was the maximum power - 25 watts but it was spec'd at continuous duty at this level (same as the 750/850). Also, there was never such a thing as a non Version2 751/851 as they shared most of the hardware and firmware with the Version 2 750/850.
And they all use the KPG-91D software
