The 751/851 were originally the "European" versions but
JVCKenwood brought them into the US market a few years before the line
was discontinued.
The ONLY difference between the 750/850 and the 751/851 was the maximum
power - 25 watts but it was spec'd at continuous duty at this level (same
as the 750/850). Also, there was never such a thing as a non Version2
751/851 as they shared most of the hardware and firmware with the Version
2 750/850.
And they all use the KPG-91D software
Hope this helps
Ken

Subject: [repeater-builder] TKR 851 repeater for sale
I have a Kenwoot TKR 851 UHF repeater for sale. It is a 25W unit but set
for 12 watts since I was told the last owner used it on an amp. Repeater
is in good shape although I never put it on the air but I was told it
works great.
?
$600 shipped.
?
Thanks
?
